Come join us for the 8th annual Break Open the Vault which will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 7-8 p.m. in Special Collections and Archives.

An exhibit celebrating the 175th anniversary of Grinnell College is now on display in the lower level of Burling Library. Student workers in Special Collections and Archives curated the exhibit, which spans seven display cases and includes documents and artifacts from the College’s history.

Grinnell students, faculty, and staff have access to the extensive primary source collections of the Center for Research Libraries (CRL), an international consortium of university, college, and independent research libraries.

A new DIY Object Photo Station comes to the Burling Media Room. Bring your own camera for this tabletop photo studio—a neutral backdrop and light soft-boxes can help you take professional photos with your cellphone. The photo station is available anytime when not in use by library staff.
