Gracie Brandsgard

Gracie (she/her) leads the Government, Law, and Policy Career Community at Grinnell. She provides students and early career alumni with advice and assistance, including industry-focused employment and learning opportunities in the areas of government, law, and policy. She also advises students and graduates interested in attending law school or pursuing a policy-related graduate degree.

An Iowa native and Grinnell graduate, Gracie spent her first decade after college in a number of advocacy and public policy roles. She previously worked for a multi-client government and public affairs firm in Des Moines where she led grassroots advocacy, PAC fundraising, and state and federal lobbying for clients in the financial services industry. She also has experience working with political campaigns, focus group research, and polling.

Outside of work, Gracie loves crafting, trying new recipes, playing games (video, board, etc.), and enjoying an iced latte no matter the weather.
