Jessica Poush

Jessica Poush started at Grinnell College as an Academic Assistant in January of 2026, located on the second floor of Humanities and Social Studies Center (HSSC).

She received her BA at Simpson College in 2015, graduating with an English and Secondary Education degree. She also pursued further education at Morningside University in order to receive a Special Education endorsement. She brings seven years of teaching experience and three years of administrative experience with her to help her have a well-rounded understanding of others and how to assist them. She values collaboration and is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment that supports teaching, learning, and departmental operations.

In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, including going camping, fishing, and anything outdoors (especially when the weather is cooperating and the bugs stay away).
