Naomi Cummings
Assistant Director of Faculty-Led Learning Across the Globe
Naomi Cummings is the Assistant Director of Faculty-Led Learning Across the Globe (FLAG). In her role, she works with faculty to develop life-changing global experiences for students and assists students with preparing for their time abroad. Naomi is passionate about intercultural exchange and is thrilled to be part of an institution that provides excellent global opportunities for students.
Prior to joining Grinnell, Naomi was a Program Coordinator and Advisor for faculty-led programs at The University of Oklahoma, coordinating short-term programs in Italy, Mexico, Japan, and beyond. Naomi is originally from Oskaloosa, Iowa and spent many of her summers in Japan with her mother’s family, fostering a love for international experiences. In her free time, Naomi likes to listen to and create music, manage her Etsy shop, read, and spend time with her husband, daughter, and two big dogs.
