Post Bac Community Partnerships
Libby Eggert '25 (she/her/hers) joined the Office of Community Partnerships, Planning, and Research as a Post Baccalaureate in March 2026. Eggert will play a key role in strengthening community partnership and planning initiatives, helping bring to life and tell the story of the college’s external partnerships with a particular focus on Katherine Howell Weingart ’61 Civic Innovation Pavilion programming in Renfrow Hall. As part of the department team, she is responsible for advancing office initiatives through detail-oriented project management, communications, event planning, community outreach, and data-driven reporting.
Eggert graduated from Grinnell College with a B.A. in Gender, Women's, & Sexuality Studies and a concentration in American Studies. Working with Dr. Tamara Beauboeuf-Lafontant, she was a Research Assistant and member of Team Renfrow, and collaborated with many to bring neglected history to the forefront and honor Mrs. Edith Renfrow Smith, GHS ’32, GC ’37, DHL ’19, as Grinnell College dedicated Renfrow Hall in her name. Eggert worked as a Vivero Digital Humanities Fellow, and at the Drake Community Library on digital projects and systems, organizing local history, and supporting community research and reference needs.
Eggert is originally from Oak Park, Illinois where she loves to visit and spend time with her family. Otherwise, she enjoys watching reality tv, reading about the history of science and technology, trying new crafts, and spending time with her community in Grinnell, especially over a latte at Saints Rest.
