Community Relations and Grant Coordinator
Donnette Ellis joined the college in 2012 as an Administrative Assistant supporting both the Office of Investments and the Office of Community Enhancement & Engagement. In the fall of 2019, she moved to fulltime in the Office of Community Enhancement & Engagement and in January 2020 became the Community Relations and Grant Coordinator. She maintains the community mini-grant program, micro-grant community investment requests and the Grinnell College Employee Volunteer Initiative Program. Before becoming full time with the College, she worked as an On-Call Dispatcher for Campus Safety since 2005. Her other work experience includes over 15 years with Fortune 500 Companies, such as Monsanto, John Deere Credit and 10 years with Maytag Services, LLC, a division of Maytag Corporation.
