Allison Haack
Digital Curation and Archives Specialist
Allison joined the Grinnell College Libraries in November of 2014 as the Library Special Collections & Archives Assistant. In January of 2026, she moved into the new role of Digital Curation and Archives Specialist.
Her work includes processing archival collections and creating finding aids; assisting patrons with archival reference questions; digitizing archival materials and creating metadata for inclusion in Digital Grinnell; curating digitized and born-digital content; assisting in planning and managing class visits to SCA; and creating, maintaining, and implementing archival retention schedules.
She is currently a board member of the Iowa Conservation and Preservation Consortium. Outside of work, she serves on the boards of the Grinnell Historical Museum and the Friends of Drake Community Library.
