Art; Gender, Women's and Sexuality Studies
I am an Associate Professor in the Libraries at Grinnell College, where I lead the acquisitions and cataloging areas with an emphasis on the potential user, our students, faculty, and staff. I am the consulting librarian for Art History and Studio Art and for Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies and work with students and faculty in these areas.
I am very involved in digital scholarship efforts at Grinnell College including the institutional repository, Digital Grinnell, and many digital projects on campus as a librarian with a specialization in organization and access. My scholarship is primarily in the areas of cataloging and metadata.
I am active in service activities professionally, on my campuses, and in my communities with the bulk of my efforts focused on the nuts and bolts of how institutions can ensure that the humans that make them up thrive
