Patricia Papper '50
A Grinnell graduate with a B.A. in economics and business, Papper is an ardent supporter of cultural, humanistic, and educational activities. She is a trustee and past president of the Perez Art Museum of Miami. She is a board member of the Aspen Music Festival and School and a board member of the National Public Radio Foundation. Papper is a trustee of the internationally acclaimed New World Symphony and the founding board member of Funding Arts Network, which is dedicated to replacing lost government funding for the arts in the private sector. Papper and her late husband, Dr. Emanuel Papper, endowed the College’s Sidney Meyer Professorship in International Economics, established in memory of her father.
