Maks Piasecki

Maks joined the team in 2026 and is currently a third-year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at the University of Iowa. Originally from Illinois, he earned his B.S. in Clinical/Community Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

His therapeutic approach is grounded in feminist and relational-cultural perspectives, emphasizing collaboration, empathy, and building meaningful relationships with clients. He values exploring the social, cultural, and relational factors that shape our experiences and influence our well-being.

Outside of his academic and professional work, Maks enjoys spending time with his cat, hiking, drawing, and embracing his nerdy side through video games, cosplay, and reading comics.
