Amanda Reimer

Amanda (she/her) provides administrative support for the Center for Careers, Life, and Service and supports students as they begin their professional and personal journeys. The goal is to make the process of meeting with advisers fearless and exciting.

Amanda graduated from Grinnell High School. While working, building a family, and taking night classes, she graduated with a B.S. in management from Buena Vista University. She has had many roles over the years in customer service and customer care while raising two boys of her own and volunteering many hours with the local Cub Scouts and Scouting America.

Additionally, Amanda has a love of animals. She has one dog and several cats in the house at any given time. She owns her own business and travels to Renaissance fairs in the Midwest and beyond. She is an avid reader, and you'll likely find her with a book or two on her at all times.
