Mandee Rust

Mandee Rust (she/her) joined the Center for Careers, Life, and Service (CLS) in April 2026 as an Exploratory Adviser. She helps students connect their interests, values, and lived experiences to paths that feel both realistic and meaningful, especially when those paths are not linear.

Originally from Central Illinois, Mandee is a first-generation college graduate and TRIO alum of Western Illinois University, where she earned both her B.A. in Communication ('16) and M.S. in College Student Personnel ('22). She recently moved from St. Louis, Missouri, where she worked as a Career Counselor at Saint Louis University. Along with her student affairs experience, she also has experience in off-campus student housing.
