Institutional Planning develops and supports Grinnell’s strategic planning, budget planning, and campus planning processes. Institutional Planning serves to guide, and to serve as a resource for sustainable, collaborative institution-wide strategic, campus, and budget planning.
Strategic planning is an ongoing process of evaluation, reflection, and improvement that helps the College set priorities, manage resources, define performance expectations, and ensure integrated actions. Its goal is to enhance the College’s ability to carry out its mission and core values.
The spaces in which people learn are critically multidimensional. They are at the heart of our purpose. Well-designed learning environments promote inquiry, collaboration, and creativity.
The first phase of a long-term campus plan to improve and update Grinnell College’s spaces has been recently completed.
