The Grinnell College Libraries are here to help you with your research. In addition, you may purchase an item by logging into Primo and clicking on an item that isn’t owned by Grinnell (you’ll see a “Purchase Request” link on the page for that item to click on and submit). You may also interlibrary loan materials that you need, as well as:
- Schedule an appointment (faculty only) to access Burling Library during low density closure.
- Facilitate open access to your research, in accordance with Grinnell College’s open access resolution.
- Help you negotiate publishing contracts so that you can retain more rights over your published research.
- Help you write data management plans.
Authorizing Your Assistants
The Libraries allow you to designate people to conduct library business, such as checking out books or requesting interlibrary loans, on your behalf. You might choose to authorize your Academic Support Assistant or your student research assistant, for example. Please see the page on Authorized Students and Staff for more information.
