Finding Community at Grinnell

The beginning of a new academic year brings opportunities to make connections, experience different cultures, and find community at Grinnell. During the opening weeks of the semester, Intercultural Affairs hosted a variety of welcome events featuring food, conversation, activities, and plenty of opportunities for students to connect.

These gatherings create spaces to appreciate and celebrate culture, share experiences, build relationships, and learn from one another. Consistent with these goals, students of all identities are welcomed at every event.  They are part of Intercultural Affairs’ broader commitment to offering student-centered experiences that encourage students to reflect, connect, explore, engage, and grow as members of the Grinnell community.
