Summer offers its own unique traditions and celebrations at the Grinnell College Golf Course (GCGC). Honoring Traditions, Preserving the Future is more than just a tag line for GCGC members and guests.
Grinnell College recently received a gift from Liyan Chen ’12 and her husband Brian Solomon, which was made in honor of Grinnell resident Jean Libbey, an enthusiastic host of international students.

Hull is currently a second-year student at Grinnell College, majoring in biological chemistry with hopes of attending medical school post-Grinnell. Hull grew up in Grinnell, Iowa, and began playing and growing in the game of baseball at the young age of 3. From the start, he was passionate about the game and knew that he wanted to play at the collegiate level. His early experiences with baseball are something Hull cherishes and has held onto over the years.

Art students receive more than $3,000 in prizes at BAX opening reception

The 2022 Bachelor of Arts Exhibition (BAX), which features works in the creative arts by 36 third- and fourth-year Grinnell College students, will open on Friday, April 22, in the Grinnell College Museum of Art.
The Office of Community Partnerships, Planning, and Research, along with the Student Government Association (SGA), are hosting a Hometown Expo event on Saturday, April 16 from 2–6 p.m. on Ward Field. Students have signed up to create tables with activities tailored to introduce the Grinnell community to places far and wide.
