President Anne F. Harris invites the campus community to a set of convening conversations to start the academic year. This year three sessions will be held on Wednesday, August 23: 1) College finances; 2) the College’s response to the recent SCOTUS decision on affirmative action; and, 3) Renfrow Hall, civic innovation, and student housing.
A set of sessions held on August 23, as we gather into our community of inquiry, exploring consequential topics for our experiences of the College as these connect to higher education and our global, multi-cultural society at large.
Lopez brings extensive experience in higher education administration to our campus.
Douglas brings a wealth of experience and expertise in all areas of leadership, with a particular focus on fundraising and operational objectives within higher education.
Marc Reed, Interim Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer (CDIO) has been appointed to the position on a permanent basis.
The U.S. Supreme Court has released its findings and opinions in the cases of Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. (SFFA) v. President & Fellows of Harvard College and SFFA v. University of North Carolina et al. These decisions reverse more than fifty years of work toward racial equity in education and will change how applications for admission are evaluated at colleges and universities across the nation.

President Anne F. Harris has been appointed to the NCAA Division III Presidents and Chancellors Advisory Group, where she will represent the Midwest Conference. Her term of service on the committee began immediately and will continue through January 2025.
