Grinnell College student-athletes delivered one of the strongest spring seasons in recent memory, combining conference championships, NCAA Tournament appearances, and historic performances across six programs. From baseball’s first-ever Midwest Conference title to championship runs in track and field, golf, and tennis, the Pioneers capped off the year with momentum and milestones.

Samantha Schmidt ’26 has been named the recipient of the Celina Karp Biniaz Model of Resilience Award from Grinnell College. The Award was established to honor Celina’s courageously hopeful life and legacy and bestows a cash prize.
