Argentine writer, Carlos Gamerro, will read from his work and discuss writing at 4:15 p.m. in the Humanities and Social Studies Center (HSSC) Room S3325.

Author and composer David Rothenberg — who makes music with whales, birds, and bugs — will give a concert, join a panel discussion, and lead an excursion to explore sounds of nature.

Grinnell Prize Winner Shafiq R. Kahn, through his work with EMPOWER PEOPLE, strives to eradicate bride trafficking in India and to empower girls and women affected by trafficking.
