Dennis Perkins Jr. is from a small town called East Chicago, Indiana which is located 30 minutes east of Chicago, Illinois. Dennis received his Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Higher Education Management, his Master’s degree in Education Administration from Western Kentucky University and his Bachelor’s from Indiana University in English. In his free time, he likes to work out, play sports with his children and dabble with technology.
What Dennis likes best about Grinnell College is the beauty of the campus.
Dennis’s main responsibility at Grinnell College is to oversee the daily operations of Residence Life. This includes direct supervision of the Associate and Assistant directors in Residence Life; co-supervision of the live-in professional staff, as well as the students and student staff who live on campus in the residence halls.
