Grinnell College offers a wide variety of programs and events that welcome the public to campus. In addition to offering outreach programming, we are also here to support offices campus wide as a ready resource for helping with planning for events that bring campus and community together. Whether on the Grinnell College campus or in the broader community, we can offer consultation in logistics such as: venue, invitations, tours, publicity, and partnership opportunities. Together, we can help plan events that are inviting, inclusive, and build community.
Coffee with the College
We invite you to join us for “Coffee with the College” to share the creativity, curiosity, and work happening across Grinnell College in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
Each Friday morning, 9-10 a.m. (excluding breaks, finals, and holidays) in the Katherine Howell Weingart ’61 Civic Innovation Pavilion, a member of the campus community will share short, conversational presentations on recent work — from current research or MAP projects to published articles, creative endeavors, or community collaborations. For the weeks that the Board of Trustees are in town, “Coffee with the College” will be held on Thursday morning, 9-10 a.m.
These gatherings are open to all and aim to foster conversations across campus and community. Everyone is welcome including community members, students, faculty, and staff. Light refreshments will be served. No RSVP required.
For questions, contact Office of Community Partnerships, Planning, and Research or 641-269-3900.
