Come join the Grinnell College Libraries for the annual Break Open the Vault open house which will be held on Wednesday, May 3 from 5-6 p.m. in the Special Collections and Archives Reading Room.

Jazz Ensemble Director Mark Laver says the band will be performing the music of Chick Webb — music that was made for dancing. Visiting scholar Christi Jay Wells will lead the dance class before the concert, giving everyone, even beginners, a bit of swing dance experience so they can join in the dance that follows.

The grant will support her project entitled "Maya Testimonies in the Visual History Archive: Transcribing, Translating, and Accessing Survivor Life Histories."
