Grinnell College’s Yuki Takahashi ’22 has been awarded a Quad Fellowship by Schmidt Futures.

In spring 2022, the Grinnell College Community Mini-Grant Program awarded the Grinnell Community Early Learning Center $2,824 to provide members of their leadership staff with the chance to learn about new techniques and methods of early learning. 

Founded in 1862 during the Civil War at Grinnell College (then Iowa College), the society annually awards scholarships to students who identify as women based on academic excellence, service, leadership and financial need.

Grinnell College will honor Edith Renfrow Smith, Class of 1937, one of the College’s most accomplished and beloved alumni, by naming the Civic Engagement Quad (CEQ) Core Building in her honor.  

For the eleventh year since the event’s conception, Grinnell College’s Pioneer Bookshop will donate 10% of their December sales to support middle and high-school libraries in the Grinnell-Newburg Community School District.
