Grinnell College President Anne F. Harris congratulates the Class of 2024 at the closing of their commencement ceremony and leads graduates as they turn their tassels and toss their caps in celebration.

The Board of Trustees gathered for their annual meeting on campus May 2-4, 2024.

Following an extensive national search, JC Lopez has been appointed vice president of student affairs at Grinnell College.

President Harris share information about the seven initiatives identified at the beginning of the semester and what the inter-campus working groups have accomplished to date.

Sanders brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the initiative. The initiative represents a pivotal milestone in our ongoing commitment to fostering collaboration and driving meaningful societal change.

During her 38 years at Grinnell College, generations of students have benefited through engagement with her considerable intellect, passion, and skills honed as an eminent scholar, award-winning writer, and internationally known diversity trainer.

The Board of Trustees gathered for their winter meeting on campus February 1-3, 2024.  

As President Harris announced on the first day of class, a team has been working to create diverse opportunities for our community to learn about and come together to share and explore our own relationships with the war and crisis in Israel and Gaza. We hope to hear from people highly engaged on this topic and connect more as a campus around these issues.   

International Holocaust Remembrance Day is commemorated each year at Grinnell and in the world on January 27. This is a day to remember the lives lost in the Holocaust: the six million Jews who were murdered, as well as individuals of many marginalized groups, including, but not limited to, members of the Roma community, LGBTQIA+ individuals, people with disabilities, resistance activists and more.
