Aguibou Bougobali SANOU, assistant professor in Grinnell College’s Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies, has been selected as one of 25 Dance/USA Artist Fellows for 2025. The national fellowship program honors dance and movement-based artists whose work demonstrates a sustained commitment to social change. Each fellowship includes an unrestricted $31,000 grant to support the artist’s ongoing creative practice.

Pioneer Weekend 2025 Highlights Student Innovation

The Wilson Center’s annual Pioneer Weekend pitch competition took place from Friday, September 26, to Sunday, September 28. The objective of Pioneer Weekend is to bring together student innovators to develop and pitch a business or nonprofit plan. It encourages hands-on experiences and helps develop skills critical to entrepreneurship. The top three teams also receive cash prizes.
