Don't let pre-health intimidate you. There are many resources available to help.
Grinnell College students can join the HPAC listserv to get information about lectures, panel discussions, important deadlines, graduate/medical school visitors, and more. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Working with the HPAC and the CLS, these student-led groups offer opportunities to learn about entering various health fields, facilitate connections with alumni, and communicate about shadowing and volunteer service in the community.
The CLS has a Graduate and Professional School page on GrinnellShare as well as a page for the Health Professions Career Community and a list of events related to the health professions (Grinnell College login required). Mary Jane Shroyer in the CLS can help match you up with job shadowing, internships, and meaningful community service experiences with a health focus. She can also review your application essay with you, help you select programs and schools, and conduct mock interviews.
Contact the CLS for more information about Kaplan’s web-based MCAT prep course.

Each year we are sent information for some, but not all, opportunities for research and/or fellowships related to medicine. These, along with other opportunities in the sciences, are compiled on the Science Division's GrinnellShare Page under Research Opportunities then Off Campus Summer Opportunities.
If you have questions about any of these opportunities, you should either contact the particular program or you could contact CLS.
