A Certified Electronic Credential Overview
A digital diploma is a secure, digital credential that complements your paper diploma and makes it easy to quickly and securely share proof of your education. A digital diploma has the transactional value of a transcript, which can be attached to your digital resume, posted on your LinkedIn page, or shared using a unique code.
Grinnell College now offers digital diplomas and certificates! These are electronic credentials known as a CeDiploma or CeCertificate. Watch this Credential Overview video on YouTube to learn more.
How to Access Your Digital Diploma
You will receive an email with a link to download your credential when it is available from our trusted partner, CeCredentialTrust. To request a new download link, please use the CeCredential Trust site to resend the link.

- Save the PDF on as many devices as you want. Each copy of the file will have your unique 12-digit "Certified Electronic Document Identifier" (CeDiD).
- Enhance your resume by adding the CeDiD and validation URL directly to it.
Note: A credential may not be available for all conferral dates. For security reasons, the electronic credential cannot be printed.

Replacement Print Diplomas
Diplomas may be replaced in the event the original is lost, stolen, or damaged. To order a replacement paper diploma and/or a replacement cover, use the link below. Please note that processing and shipping times may vary and are dependent on the vendors. Please contact our office directly if you wish to pursue an expedited order. Note: the replacement diploma will include "Reissue" on the document to indicate that it is a replacement and not the original.
