About Digital Diplomas

A digital diploma is a secure, digital credential that allows organizations to quickly and securely verify proof of an applicant’s education credentials. A digital diploma has the transactional value of a transcript, and provides an official, secure, and verifiable electronic version of a prospective employee’s diploma.

Grinnell College issues digital diplomas and provides verification through CeCredential Trust.

The CeDiploma is accepted by employers, the United States’ Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), and governments around the globe.
The CeDiploma is the only digital credential that allows real-time, patent-pending validation through the issuing institution’s website.
Each validation is time and date stamped to provide absolute proof of when the credential was verified by the institution.

An Apostille may neither be required nor necessary. The CeDiploma has legal standing, is non-repudiating, and can be validated through the Institution’s website to provide absolute confidence in the credential’s authenticity.
