The College has continued to monitor road conditions, flight cancellations, and other travel disruptions overnight and through the early morning hours. Classes will be cancelled on Monday, Dec. 1 to provide all those traveling back to campus additional time to return safely from Thanksgiving break.

Comprehensive Fees for the 2026-27 Academic Year

After careful review, the Board of Trustees has approved an overall 2.5% increase to the total comprehensive fee for the 2026-27 academic year. This is the lowest annual increase in the comprehensive fee since the College began keeping records 67 years ago, and lower than the current 3% rate of inflation, as measured by the U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI).

The College is joining Grinnell Mutual and the Campbell Fund in responding to an urgent call from the Grinnell Food Coalition (GFC), which is mobilizing support for Poweshiek County families affected by the temporary suspension of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits earlier this fall. Although benefits are expected to return, many households and local food providers continue to face significant strain as demand for food assistance rises.

Enjoy a Traditional Thanksgiving Meal on Campus on Nov. 27 Students, faculty, staff, families, and community members are welcome to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal hosted by Dining Services between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., on Thurs., Nov. 27, in the Marketplace Dining Hall. Individuals with meal plans can use those for entry. Others can purchase tickets in advance or at the door; cost is $25 (adults) and $10 (youth under 12 years of age). Children 5 years of age and under can eat free. Cash and credit/debit cards are accepted.
