As summer draws to a close, anticipation builds for the arrival of the Class of 2029 and the start of another year of discovery and connection. Grinnell College opens its doors to the Class of 2029 — 421 students whose stories, talents, and ambitions will shape our community in the years ahead.

Isabella ‘Bella’ Nesbeth has received the Frederick Baumann Essay Prize. The award recognizes excellence in education by encouraging Grinnell College students to explore ideas and society in an interdisciplinary and historical context.

Grinnell College honored the Class of 2025 with a joyful and heartfelt Commencement ceremony, held indoors for the first time since 1996 due to forecasted storms. This photo essay captures the energy and emotion as over 400 graduates from 46 states and 20 countries marked the end of their Grinnell journeys and the start of new chapters ahead.

The Theorizing Dance and Language courge, co-taught by Professor Cynthia Hansen and Professor Emerita Celeste Miller, spent spring break in Prague exploring the cross-disciplinary collaboration between linguistics and choreography.
