Grinnell alumni receive Fulbright grants for English teaching assistantships

Research ideas can come from anywhere. Bella Totten ’27, a biological chemistry student, first learned about forest bathing while working at Student Health and Wellness (SHAW) and is now completing a Mentored Advanced Project (MAP) about the physiological benefits of spending time outdoors.

Grinnell College’s Associate Vice President for Finance, Nancy Combs, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). Her appointment was endorsed during the NACUBO Annual Meeting in July.

Many Grinnell students leave campus for the summer, but those who stay around town enjoy the slower pace of summer and build meaningful connections with the community.
