Experts on land use and conflict converge to discuss urban and rural issues surrounding this important topic.
What happens when people disagree about how land should be used?
Working with the Peace and Conflict Studies Program, Anthony Wenndt ’15 has organized a discussion series on Land Use and Conflict, Nov. 21–22.
Wenndt, a Russian and biology double major with a concentration in global development studies, has arranged discussions with experts from Iowa State, University of Iowa, and Grinnell. They will discuss this timely and important topic in a rural context on Thursday, and an urban context on Friday.
All events are free and open to the public.
